  • Basic rules
    • The snake automatically moves forward.
      • Turn around and eat the food of the same color.
      • Do not consume food that aren’t the same color as the snake.
      • The snake will change color every so often.
    • Do not hit any part of the snake.
    • Do not hit the walls.
    • Eat all the food present to clear the level.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • You automatically begin on the first level.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • Each time you reload the game, you start at the latest level you’ve unlocked.
    • You can replay any level you’ve already unlocked.
      • Open the level selection screen using the list button to choose a different level to play.
    • There are 40 levels in this game.
  • Scoring
    • Each segment you collect is worth 1 point.
    • Your score is unique to the level.
  • Tips
    • In most cases it takes at least two squares of perpendicular movement to change directions twice.
    • The game is not timed & you do not have a move limit, so it is better to take wider loops than it is to try to make multiple consecutive tight turns.
    • As you play through the game your snake moves faster, requiring you to lead your turns earlier.
    • If a piece is next to a wall try to run parallel to the wall when collecting it.
    • The level ends when you collect the last piece of food, so it can make sense to grab food that is in absolute corners or other tight places last.
