• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play at the center to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your high score appears below the game’s title at the center of the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse, left click to drop the piece of candy.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to drop the piece of candy.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Gear button: Opens the following controls (top-down)
        • Grid button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
        • Reset button: Clears the play space and returns your score to zero
        • Social button: Visits the developer’s website
        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sounds on or off

  • Basic rules
    • Drop the candy down the play space.
    • Identical candies will merge together to form a slightly larger one.
      • The candies that form from merging are shown on the guide on the bottom center of the screen.
      • Keep track of the next candy you’ll be dropping using the next candy indicator on the top right.
      • Only the first 4 types of candy are generated by the game.
    • Keep dropping and merging candies until you reach the largest piece of candy in the game (the chocolate chip cookie).
      • The chocolate chip cookies will pop once you merge them together, clearing space for more candies.
      • Repeat the process for as long as you’d like.
    • Once you pile the candies up a specific height, a dashed line appears near the top. This indicates that you’re about to reach the height limit.
      • The line will start to flash once a piece of candy starts to touch it.
      • You only have a scant few seconds to somehow bring the pile down once this happens.
      • If you are unable to bring it all down, it’s game over.
    • On the game over screen, select the reset button to start again.
  • Scoring
    • You receive points based on twice the individual value of the type of candy pieces merged.
      • The smallest candy piece has a value of 1 and yield 2 points when merged.
      • This logic carries on for the other candy pieces.
  • Tips
    • The candies are round and will roll around for a bit.
      • Wait until they settle down before plopping in the next one.
    • Plan two moves ahead.
      • Look at both your current (top center) and next (upper right) candy pieces and decide where they should go.
      • If the pieces are identical, try to see if you can merge them in the same place (or if you need to use them separately).
    • Move lower-value pieces to the sides if you have no place to put them.
      • This is to keep them from coming between larger pieces & blocking a larger merge.
    • Try to avoid creating voids.
      • Large gaps inside the play space where the pieces can’t touch will increase the risk of an early game over.
