• Starting the Game
  • Select PLAY in the upper right corner of the game’s welcome screen to go to the level select screen.
  • There is also a button on the welcome screen to choose a specific level.
  • Levels are unlocked sequentially & your web browser saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use the arrow keys or WASD to move.
      • Press the left arrow key or A to move left.
      • Press the right arrow key or D to move right.
      • Press the up arrow key or W to jump (or climb a ladder).
      • Press the down arrow key or S to climb down ladders or fall down a platform (though this only works on some platform types).
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen controls.
      • The move left & move right buttons are in the lower left.
      • The move up & move down buttons are in the lower right.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner shows how many total eggs you need to collect. They have a dashed line around them if you have not yet collected them & fill in after you have collected them.

    • You encounter the following types of dinosaurs in this game.
      • Velociraptor, a 100 pound dinosaur, which patrols a set path on specific platforms
      • Pterodactyl, a 550 pound flying reptile with a wingspan of up to 30 feet, which flies mostly horizontally
      • Mosasaurus, a 30,800 pound aquatic squamate reptile, which swims & jumps out of the water at you
      • T-rex, a 15,500 pound dinosaur, which runs after you
  • Dying
    • Levels are not timed, but you die if any dinosaur touches you or if you fall into the water.
    • This game offers unlimited continues.
    • When you die you start at the beginning of the level you died on.
  • Levels
    • This game has 10 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any previously beat level at any time.
  • Strategy
    • In this game your jump is rather weak unless you are jumping off a Jumper 2000 purple jumping platform.
      • On the Jumper 2000 platforms you keep bouncing until you leave them.
      • There is no double jump feature in this game.
      • If you are jumping onto or off of a moving platform you have to time your jumps with precision. Such precision is also needed to jump over velociraptors.
      • If you are collecting eggs above a horizontally moving platform be sure to jump forward when you go for the egg so you are moving along with the platform.
    • You have to track the velociraptor’s path to know where it ends & will turn so that you can jump over it. You generally do not have a lot of clearance when jumping over it, so it pays to collect any eggs you see as you progress through the game so that you do not have to repeatedly jump over them.
    • When a pterodactyl is in your way you typically need to backtrack to a platform on a higher elevation so that either it flies under you or it flies under you while you jump over it.
    • The mosasaurus sticks its head out of the water at a regular interval which you can time. It is best to jump right as it is receding.
    • You must outrun the first tyrannosaurus rex & jump into the end portal before it gets to you. On the second t-rex you run until there is a gap in the ground you can hide in as it es you. Unlike the velociraptor the t-rex keeps running in one direction & does not circle back for you.
